Duo Wallpapers — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Duo Wallpapers is published by OlaaSoft. This notice describes the native iOS app with optional rewarded advertisements and a monthly subscription. Available features depend on the installed version and service configuration.
No sign-up
You can browse wallpapers without registering. We do not ask for your name, email address or password. No-login use still involves the service data described below. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send.
Wallpaper delivery and device storage
Wallpapers and the catalog are delivered through Cloudflare. Network requests expose technical data such as an IP address, requested resource and request time to the delivery service for operation, security and troubleshooting. The app caches images and catalog information on your device.
Your selected wallpaper and Shortcut completion preference are stored locally. The selected rewarded wallpaper and the next available reward time are stored in the device Keychain to maintain the 24-hour allowance. This local record is not synchronized as a daily allowance between devices and can survive app reinstallation. The app does not upload your photo library. Saving requests add-only Photos permission; iOS Shortcuts can use the selected image when you choose the Shortcut route.
Optional rewarded advertising
When you choose to unlock a wallpaper with an advertisement, Google AdMob delivers the ad and may select Unity Ads through bidding mediation. The advertising SDKs may process IP address (including an approximate location derived from it), app/device identifiers, ad views and interactions, and performance or diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and service operation. We use Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain and manage consent where required.
iOS tracking permission is optional. Denying it does not prevent browsing or subscribing. The app requests non-personalized ads when tracking permission is not granted; non-personalized ads still involve processing necessary for delivery and measurement. Where required, advertising privacy choices can be reopened from the Premium screen. You can also change tracking permission in iOS Settings.
Subscriptions and purchase validation
Apple handles billing. We do not receive your payment-card information. Adapty creates an anonymous profile and processes purchase and transaction information, subscription status, technical app/device information and paywall events so the app can validate and restore access. The app disables Adapty's IDFA and IP-address collection options and does not supply an email address or a custom account identifier. This does not prevent network infrastructure from processing connection information.
Use Restore Purchases to recover eligible purchases through your Apple account. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel it in your Apple subscription settings.
Optional notifications and offers
If you allow notifications, Duo can send wallpaper updates, local reminders and occasional subscription offers. Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging process a push registration token, installation identifiers and technical delivery information to route remote notifications. Your device region setting determines country-topic membership; it is not GPS location and can be changed in iOS. Notification delivery does not require an app account, and we do not add an email address or name to these topics.
Offer eligibility, the first recorded use date, offer expiry and previously observed subscription status are also stored locally. The app uses Apple and Adapty purchase information to check eligibility and stops scheduled offer notifications when it learns that Premium is active. A purchase on another device may not be known until the app synchronizes. You can turn notifications off in Duo Settings or iOS Settings. Turning them off in Duo cancels its local notification plans and stops push registration; network-dependent cleanup retries when a connection is available. A notification already handed to Apple for delivery may still arrive.
Product analytics
Versions with Mixpanel analytics send app interactions such as screens visited, wallpaper IDs and categories viewed or selected, preview settings, export attempts and results, ad-unlock steps, subscription and restore outcomes, language and notification choices, and technical error codes. Events include timestamps, a session identifier, app and operating-system information, and the device's region setting. We use these records to understand usage, improve the app and investigate failures.
A random identifier saved by the app links activity from the same installation to an anonymous profile. That profile may include the anonymous Adapty profile ID so we can correlate subscription access with app activity. This is not a registered personal account and does not automatically identify a person's name or email or link their separate devices. Mixpanel does not receive your photo-library contents, payment-card details, push tokens, or raw error messages from this integration. The app does not use IDFA or IDFV for Mixpanel, disables IP-derived geolocation and does not enable session recording. Network infrastructure can still process connection information. The Mixpanel project stores data in the United States.
You can disable Usage analytics in Duo Settings. This stops new app analytics and pauses SDK transmission while disabled. Previously queued events may be sent if you enable analytics again; previously received event records are not automatically erased. Analytics does not control access to wallpapers or Premium. For access or deletion requests, contact us so we can identify the relevant anonymous record.
App updates
Firebase Remote Config delivers the minimum supported app version so we can ask you to update when needed. Firebase uses an installation identifier and technical information such as app and operating-system versions, country/language codes and time zone to deliver configuration. Network services also process connection information. We do not enable Firebase Analytics, advertising audiences or personalized Remote Config experiments. The last activated update rule is cached on your device.
Retention and your choices
Local caches and preferences remain until removed by the app or iOS; Keychain records can remain after uninstalling. Apple, Adapty, Google, Unity, Mixpanel and Cloudflare retain service records according to their purposes and policies, including transaction, security and legal requirements. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for records controlled by these providers.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or request deletion of personal information, object to processing or withdraw consent. Contact us for a request relating to Duo Wallpapers. Without a registered account, we may need information that lets us locate the relevant anonymous record. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
